Engage Women
Engage Women is an organization, which began in 2012, established due to concerns about what women knew regarding legislation, how they knew about it, and which news media was giving them information. We discovered that many women did not know about issues that could or would impact them. Such issues as pay equity, access to education, environmental concerns and much more. Our mission is to be a source where women can receive non-partisan public policy information. We will strive to present issues of concern for women, and plan to create a haven for women to learn, ask questions and feel confident that what they read is real, and truthful. Engage Women recognizes that the independent nature of our research is essential to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and quality. Engage Women seeks to ensure these standards through internal and external peer review processes. Engage Women believes that as more women become accurately informed, they will feel more confident and empowered, which should lead to community and government engagement.
